MQEprep.com offers a comprehensive two-day course along with supplemental advance study materials that focus on the exam writing strategies and technical required to be successful on the MQE

Our course is designed to provide you with the information and strategies required to study effectively and efficiently for the MQE.

We start by ensuring you understand how the the MQE is marked, which in our view is essential to your success. We then tackle the time pressure of the MQE head-on, and provide you with writing strategies that will help you cope with the volume of information in the questions.

We’ll also review core technical topics, valuation frameworks, and how to adjust the frameworks for common MQE scenarios.

After we establish a foundation for approaching questions, we’ll write a few practice exams together, discuss how best to debrief your exams and, lastly, how to continually refine your approach when tackling future MQE questions.

Your course registration includes:

Whether you work in public practice or industry, our course is proven to be effective

Our course is designed so that everyone has an opportunity to learn according to their respective level in the preparation process. We will teach you proven MQE writing strategies and techniques, and then work with you throughout the course as you apply the strategies to past MQE questions. We will enable you to build on your individual strengths and experience, including sharing marking and debriefing strategies to ensure you get the most out of your study time and each practice question you write.

Why a two-day course is optimal

  • Our students consistently provide us feedback that two days is more than sufficient instruction time. If we thought three day or ten week courses were effective, we would offer them

  • Two days is ample time for us to teach you the relevant materials and concepts, time for you to apply and reinforce the concepts, and time to ask any questions that you may have

  • By the end of the second day, students are generally ready to review and apply the materials on their own

  • We believe there is little value in having someone watch you write practice questions on the third day, or for ten weeks, particularly after you learn how to effectively debrief exams. The feedback you get from us marking a question for you later in your study process is far more valuable and effective

  • We encourage you to speak with past writers about their experience prior to deciding what type of program will give you the best chance of passing the MQE!

I believe that the two-day course was preferable to the alternatives as it provided all the information I thought was necessary to enable me to study effectively for the MQE.
