After a successful re-launch of our in-person courses in 2023, we are pleased to be offering two in-person English courses, two online English courses, and one online French course. Please see our home page for our 2024 course dates!
2023 Courses Now Available
We are excited to announce that MQEprep will be offering a combination of online and in-person courses for 2023.
At this time, we have not been able to secure meeting room spaces as the venues we generally use are not yet accepting bookings. Our intention is to offer two in-person courses in 2023 unless it becomes logistically impractical to do so - we will give ample notice if plans change and plan to offer online courses on those dates if we are unable to host in-person courses.
2023 MQE Date Announced
The 2023 MQE will be on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Times vary by region.
MQEprep Going Online (again) in 2022
As much as we would have liked to have been able to offer in-person courses, there is still too much uncertainty regarding the logistics of holding in-person courses, not limited to but including that the venues that we use are not accepting bookings.
We understand everyone has Zoom fatigue, and that online learning comes with challenges. In order to mitigate some of the challenges and to ensure you have a positive learning experience, our 2022 course will include:
Multiple instructors throughout the two-day online course - to keep things fresh, share different perspectives, and help keep you engaged
An online course portal that will include a discussion forum, chat boards for each MQE practice question, and other online materials to assist you in your studies before and after the course.
2022 MQE Date Announced
The CICBV has released the date for the 2022 MQE - it will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 - start times vary by geography.

MQEprep goes en français in 2021!
We are excited to be offering our full MQE prep course en français for the first time in 2021. Our entire course package is available in French, including points based keys for 2015 to 2020 (2010 to 2014 keys are only available in English).
Study Smart
If you’re planning on writing the Membership Qualification Exam (MQE) this year, the thought of studying this summer may already be lingering in the back of your mind. Many of you have likely written the UFE or other similar professional exams and already have well-established study methods. While aspects of your approach may be transferrable to the MQE, there is a difference. You don’t need 2 full-time months to prepare for the MQE!
How to Pick the Right MQE Prep Course
The MEE is Now the MQE
In September 2012, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV) changed the name of the final examination component of the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) membership process. Formally the Membership Entrance Exam (MEE), the exam will now be called the Membership Qualification Exam (MQE).
